About the Author
Judy Storeygard is a Senior Research Associate at TERC, an education research nonprofit located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her research interests include mathematics education for students with special needs; improving opportunities for underrepresented populations in STEM; and professional development for elementary school math teachers.

Collaborating with teachers has been a prime focus of her work. She is a contributing author and editor on a variety of texts focused on mathematics intervention strategies in inclusive classrooms. In addition, she is a coauthor for articles included in the Teaching Children Mathematics and Teaching Exceptional Children Plus journals.

Count Me In! K-5

This text is a good read and offers helpful scenarios for gen ed and special ed teachers. Some of the examples are limited in their explanations but overall, the text is thought provoking and acts as a great springboard for how all teachers can make math accessible to every learner. If you're looking for some new approaches to use within your diverse classrooms of today, this is a great value and will help you get on your way.
