Extremely Helpful

I found this book to be extremely helpful. The author did a great job at breaking down complex information into easy-to-understand, everyday language. In particular, I found the budget worksheet (which also appears on the CD-ROM in the back of the book) to be great! It walked me through step-by-step how to create a realistic, affordable budget. This book is a must have for anyone thinking about buying a second home.

Second Home Review

This truly is an exceptional book. It is written in easy to follow terms and is broken up such that you only read the portion(s) that relate to you. It has a lot of good tips to consider and it helps the reader get a better understanding of where they really stand with respect to purchasing a second house.
The only thing that detracts from this book is the lack of having the forms pre-filled out in spreadsheets. The forms are helpful, but since they are in a rich text format, it forces the user to enter them into spreadsheets.
